My background, credentials, recognition and what drives everything I build. For anyone who wants to know who they are dealing with before they reach out.
I spent 17 years as a professional baker and food entrepreneur before I made a decision that surprised a lot of people, possibly including parts of myself.
Seven years ago I transitioned into technology and product management. Not to walk away from the food industry I loved, but because I looked at it and saw a problem so significant and so consistently ignored that I knew I had to be the one to solve it.
Most food businesses have no idea whether they are actually profitable. They price by gut feel, absorb ingredient cost increases without realising it, and work harder and harder while their margins silently erode. This happens because nobody ever built them the right tools.
In 2016 I was teaching bakers to cost their products with pen and paper, because that was the best tool available. In 2019 I built a spreadsheet because paper was not enough. In 2026 I launched CostNav because food businesses finally deserved better.
That is the short version. The longer version is that I have spent two decades at the intersection of food, business, community and technology, building things, teaching things, and stubbornly refusing to accept that the people doing the most important work in the food industry should have the worst tools.

What happens when you build for a market you have lived inside. How food businesses fail because of tools, not talent. How Agile methodology applies to creative businesses. And what it looks like to be a Black woman founder building in UK food tech.
Why most food businesses fail financially, and the tools and mindset shifts that change the trajectory. The real cost of underpricing, what ingredient inflation is doing to margins, and how data changes decisions. Suitable for food industry events and small business conferences.
What 17 years in a professional kitchen taught me about shipping software, Agile delivery and building products that solve real problems. As a Certified Scrum Master and Agile Coach, I bring both the lived experience and the formal methodology to this conversation. Suitable for tech conferences, PM communities and founder events.
The unfair advantages and unexpected challenges of building in a vertical where you are the user. What domain expertise gives you and what it blinds you to. Suitable for founder communities, accelerator cohorts and investor events.
What it really takes to transition into product management, whether from a technical background, a creative field or an entirely different industry. The skills that matter, the misconceptions that hold people back, and what hiring managers are genuinely looking for. Suitable for career development events, universities, bootcamps and professional communities.
As a Certified Agile Coach, I teach creative and artisan business owners how to apply Agile methodology beyond software teams. The food entrepreneurs, bakers and makers who adopt these principles run more sustainable, more profitable and less chaotic businesses. Suitable for creative enterprise events, food industry conferences and community programmes.
Why being busy is not the same as being profitable. Many entrepreneurs confuse a full order book with a healthy business, only to discover that growth without financial clarity leads to exhaustion rather than success. This session unpacks the trap and gives entrepreneurs the framework to build businesses that are not just active but genuinely sustainable. Suitable for entrepreneurship events, enterprise support organisations, accelerators and small business conferences.
One of the most common and most painful realities in entrepreneurship — working at full capacity while the bank account tells a different story. This session explores why it happens, what the real causes are, and what entrepreneurs can do to ensure their busiest months are also their most profitable. Suitable for founders, creative business owners, freelancers and anyone who has ever wondered where the money went.
For speaking invitations, panel participation or podcast appearances, please include the event name, date, audience size and topic you have in mind.
Alongside my work as a founder and Technical PM, I run two community programmes and a free resource platform that exist to give food and creative entrepreneurs the tools and knowledge they deserve.
A community programme teaching Agile methodology to bakers and food business owners, helping them apply structured, iterative thinking to how they run their businesses, manage their time, and serve their customers. The programme bridges the gap between creative passion and business discipline.
A community programme for creative entrepreneurs across the arts, crafts and food industries, teaching Agile methodology as a framework for running creative businesses with discipline, clarity and sustainable growth. For anyone who creates for a living and wants to run their business with the same care they put into their craft.
A free legal document resource for food businesses across five jurisdictions, UK, Nigeria, USA, Canada and an international framework. Custom Order Agreements, Allergen Disclosures, Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies, built specifically for the food industry. Professional legal protection should not be a luxury.
I read every message personally. If you have something specific and genuine to say, I am here.
